Designer and researcher Liene Kazaka shared her experience with the Myco Colour project, telling how she became friends with a blue mushroom and why this type of interaction is important for creating more sustainable artistic practices. Participants learnt some home lab hacks by preparing their own micro-universe in a petri dish, which they took home to further observe the growth of mushroom mycelium and the other microorganisms present.
