A two day workshop exploring mycelium as both a biological network and a material collaborator through field research, discussion, and hands-on experimentation. On the first day, participants visited a mushroom herbarium and joined a colloquium on bio art and sustainability. On the second day, they worked with living mycelium to create living artworks, simultaneously exploring fungi’s potential to both create and decompose materials.
