UK during Covid-19 pandemic this project explores if it is possible to make garments
at home and how they would look like.
Crisp packets as the raw material was chosen as it’s currently not accepted by recycling facilities in UK and is considered to be non- recyclable. In the meantime crisps are very popular snack and their distinct packaging is almost unavoidable (in UK a single packet containing only handful of crisps) with practically no alternatives available. Using the tools available during the lockdown the project explores various processing methods with the aim to achieve an outfit suitable for the lifestyle during pandemic- a daytime pyjamas.
